I'm looking to establish a group of like-minded women that have a passion for creating uses from other's castoffs (or junk!).
This group will:
Have scheduled meetups to attend flea markets and/or rummage sales
Exchange creative ideas for refining and reusing discards
Hold workshops using (and learning to use) power tools to convert their junk treasures into fun home decor and accessories
Have guest speakers or take "field trips" to local establishments - junkyards
Take road trips to attend far away junk fairs or flea markets! (ie The World's Longest Yard Sale or Junk Bonanza
