We are having my parents over for Thanksgiving this year so it gave me the opportunity to make a beautiful tablescape. I challenged myself to create a budget-friendly setting using only thrift store and flea market finds. I think I found so many great things and look forward to putting it all together.
Have you set a goal or challenge for yourself this Thanksgiving? I'd love to hear about it.
Please come back to see Rustic Elegance in my dining room.
Oh! I can't wait to see! I love all that silver! No challenge here...other than to enjoy Snakelover's family and come back to a great Open House at the store. ~Mindy
That is a fun challenge for yourself! Can't wait to see how it turns out!
Nothing here for me. We are running down to Austin for the day to have Thanksgiving with my parents and then running back home because Hubs has to go out of town for gigs.
BUT, while I'm at my parents' house, I'm determined to find the ever-elusive antique-looking tree-topper that it packed away somewhere in their garage, attic or shed. It was on the tree all through my childhood, and I want it. Mom can't find it. I've not been able to find it when I've looked. But I WILL find it this time!
I can't wait to see your rustically elegant table! We are not hosting anything so maybe my mom will let me do some junk-inspired decorating at her house! I'll let you know!
Candy- I sent a gazillion of more detailed photos of Lani's entire house to Janis from the JunkMarket site. If you want, I have a lot of these emails saved on my saved file and could send them to you as well. Lani truly has tremendou ideas, and I know you are like me and lover her style too. Let me know, o.k. You can email me at gretchen.schaumann@comcast.net and I would be happy to send all the photos I took of her home. The day was incredible. Gretchen

ReplyDeleteI'm worried about the deer mix, dear. Will it be going into the stuffing perhaps? Hope not but it would sure be a challenge!
